Ingredients
- 1 orange
- 4 tbs sugar
- 4 tbs shredded coconut
- 50 ml cream
- 4 slices fresh pineapple
Preparation
1. Juice the orange.
2. Add the sugar to the pot. Heat the pot on highest level up, as soon as the sugar begins to melt, switch to a low level, add the shredded coconut and allow the mixture to caramelize while stirring continuously.
3. Deglaze with orange juice and cream, simmer with the lid off for approx. 5 minutes, then set aside.
4. Heat the pan at highest level up to the roasting window, place the pineapple inside, then switch off the heat and cook for approx. 3 minutes.
5. Serve with the browned side facing up and accompanied by the coconut caramel sauce.
