Ingredients
- 4 slices bread (e.g., sweet bread or white bread)
- 2 tbs butter, softened
- 50 g raisins
- 2 tbs almond slivers
- 200 ml milk
- 2 eggs
- 2 tbs sugar
- 1 package vanilla sugar
- 500 g apricots
- 150 ml orange juice
Preparation
1. Brush some butter on the bread, grease the Combi bowl with butter, add bread slices and raisins and sprinkle with almond slivers.
2. Mix the milk, eggs, sugar and vanilla sugar and spread over the bread slices.
3. Clean, halve and pit the apricots. Add along with the juice to the pot.
4. Place the sieve insert on top and place the Combi bowl inside. Close with the EasyQuick with the 24 cm sealing ring.
5. Heat the pot on highest level up to the steam window, switch to a low level and cook for approx. 15 minutes in the steam area.
6. At the end of cooking time, let the bread pudding cool a little. Best served lukewarm with the apricot compote.
Tip
- Service with vanilla ice cream.
