Ingredients
- 4 tbs sugar
- 3 tbs rice vinegar
- 1 tbs cornstarch
- 6 tbs water
- 4 tbs ketchup
- 2 tbs soy sauce
- tabasco to taste
Preparation
1. Add all the ingredients to the pot and mix.
2. Heat the pan on highest level up, switch to a low level and bring the sauce to a boil while stirring constantly until it has thickened.
Tip
- This sauce is ideal with spring rolls, as a condiment for meat or deep-fried dishes. Try replacing the water with pineapple juice. It gives the sauce a fruity taste.
