Ingredients
Topping:
- 50 g jam or applesauce
- 100 g berries, e.g., raspberries, strawberries, blueberries
- 100 g curd or ricotta
Batter:
- 200 g flour
- 2 ts baking powder
- 1 pinch salt
- 1 egg
- 150 ml cream
- 150 ml milk
Preparation
1. Stir all ingredients together into a smooth batter and let rest for approx. 30 minutes.
2. Heat the pan on highest level up until the perfect temperature for roasting is reached.
3. Switch to a low level and add four small portions of batter to the pan.
4. As soon as the batter firms up, turn over and roast until done. Continue with the rest of the batter.
5. Remove mini pancakes and keep warm. Make each tower out of three pancakes and some toppings.
Tip
- A wonderful recipe for children. Whether jam, applesauce, fresh fruit, or curd, there are no limits to your creativity. For even more stacking fun: Prepare chocolate sprinkles, cinnamon sugar, chopped and roasted nuts, peanut butter, or chocolate spread.
