Ingredients
- 1 orange
- 3 tbs oil
- 3 tbs honey
- 3 tbs soy sauce
- salt
- 2 twigs tarragon
- 8 chicken wings
- pepper
Preparation
1. Juice the orange and mix the juice with the oil, honey, soy sauce and approx. 1/2 a teaspoon of salt. Remove the tarragon leaves from the stems, chop finely and toss with the chicken wings and marinade. Cover and marinate for approx. 2 hours.
2. Place the pot on the Navigenio and heat on level 6 up to the roasting window. Drain off some of the liquid from the wings. Switch off the Navigenio and place the wings inside, skin side facing up. Cook until it is time to flip.
3. Place the pot in the upturned lid, place Navigenio overhead and switch to low level, bake for approx. 20 minutes until brown and crisp.
4. Season with salt and pepper before serving.
Tip
- If you prefer a spicier marinade, chicken wings with chili marinade is another great option. To make this variation, stir together 2 tablespoons of honey, 2 tablespoons of soy sauce, 2 teaspoons of ground sweet paprika, 4 tablespoons of lemon juice and 2 teaspoons of sambal oelek. Remove the leaves from one sprig of thyme, chop finely and stir into the mixture. Proceed with the rest of the instructions above.
