Ingredients
- 1 kg green beans
- 1 small onion
- 1 ts dried savory
- salt, pepper
Preparation
1. Clean the beans and cut into bite-sized pieces. Peel and finely cut the onion.
2. Add the beans dripping wet to the pot, spread the diced onion over top. Heat the pot on highest level up to the vegetable window, switch to a low level and cook for approx. 20 minutes in the vegetable area.
3. Add savory and season to taste with salt and pepper.
Tip
- The flavor of the beans can be varied in many ways. Crispy fried cubes of bacon make it especially savory.
- For a Mediterranean touch, cook a finely diced clove of garlic and stir in the diced tomatoes and a little olive oil after cooking.
