Ingredients
- 400 g precooked chestnuts
- 2 onions
- 100 g butter
- 700 ml vegetable broth
- 300 ml cream (10% fat)
- 100 ml milk
- salt, pepper
- nutmeg
Preparation
1. Peel the onions, chop finely in the Quick Cut and add to the pot with the butter. Heat the pot on highest level up to the roasting window, switch to a low level and roast onions briefly.
2. Add chestnuts and pour vegetable broth, heat the pot on highest level up to the vegetable window, switch to a low level and cook for approx. 20 minutes in the vegetable area.
3. Add cream and milk, puree finely with a hand blender and simmer uncovered for another 5 minutes.
4. Season to taste with salt, pepper, and nutmeg.
