Ingredients
- 1 kg broad beans (favas), frozen
- 1/2 Chorizo
- 2 onions
- 3 cloves of garlic
- 50 g olive oil
- 50 ml white wine
- 400 ml water
- 1 chili
- 1 bay leaf
- 1 ts paprika powder
- salt, pepper
- 1 farinheira
- 20 g cilantro
Preparation
1. Remove the frozen broad beans from the freezer and wash them under running water. Cut the chorizo in thick slices.
2. Peel onions and garlic, finely cut and add to the pot together with the olive oil. Heat the pot on highest level up to the roasting window. Open lid and stir, close with the lid again and roast further until the turning point is reached.
3. Add beans, wine, water, chili, bay leaf and paprika, stir and season with salt and pepper, add the farinheira on top of the beans. Cover with the Secuquick softline and close. Heat on highest level up to the soft window, switch to a low level and cook for approx. 8 minutes in the soft area.
4. At the end of cooking time, place the pot on the inverted lid and allow it to depressurize by itself. Open Secuquick, taste the stew for salt and pepper, adding if needed. Chop the coriander, stir well to combine add cilantro and serve immediately.
Tip
- It is a hearty and flavourful stew that is perfect for a comforting meal. Serve it with crusty bread for a complete meal.
