Ingredients
- 300 g basmati or jasmine rice
- 1/2 ts salt
- 450 ml water
Preparation
1. Rinse the basmati rice in a sieve under running water until the water runs clear.
2. Mix the rice, salt and water in the pot, cover with the Secuquick softline, and close with the lid.
3. Heat the pot on highest level up to the soft window, switch to a low level and cook for approx. 5 minutes in the soft area.
4. At the end of cooking time, allow the pot to depressurize by itself, remove Secuquick and best serve the rice immediately.
Tip
- With the Secuquick softline, basmati rice only needs about 1/3 of the cooking time stated on the package. Without the Secuquick, it is cooked in according to the instructions provided on the package.
