Ingredients
marinade:
- 800 g turkey breast
- 250 g yogurt
- 2 tbs garlic powder
- 1 tbs ginger powder
- 2 ts salt
- 2 ts garam masala
- 2 ts cumin
- 2 ts paprika powder
sauce:
- 2 ts curcuma
- 2 ts garam masala
- 1 ts paprika powder
- 1/2 ts vanilla powder
- 1/2 ts cinnamon
- 1 ts cayenne pepper
- 2 ts ground coriander
- 2 tbs tomato paste
- 600 ml strained tomatoes
- 300 ml water
- 1 onion
- 6 cloves garlic
- 20 g fresh ginger
- 6 tbs sunflower oil
- 100 ml cream
Preparation
1. Cut the turkey breast into bite-sized pieces. Mix all the ingredients for the marinade, mix with the meat and marinate for at least one hour.
2. For the sauce mix all of the ingredients up to and including the water, set aside. Finely chop the onion, garlic and peeled ginger in the Quick Cut.
3. Place pot on stove and set at highest level. Switch on Audiotherm, fit it on Visiotherm and turn it until the roasting symbol appears. As soon as the Audiotherm beeps on reaching the roasting window, set at low level, add 2 tbsp. oil and roast half of the meat without using a lid for approx. 3 minutes, remove.
4. Rinse the pot briefly, wipe it out and heat it up again. Roast the second portion the same way and with oil as well. Rinse the pot again.
5. Brown the onion mixture in the remaining oil for approx. 1 minute, add the sauce and bring to the boil. Add the meat and simmer open for about 10 minutes, stirring occasionally. Add the cream and stir.
Tip
- Serve rice with Tikka Masala.
