Ingredients
- 400 g chicken breast
- 500 g waxy potatoes
- 2 kohlrabi
- 2 large red chili peppers
- 200 ml vegetable broth
- 250 g leek
- 50 g crème fraîche
- salt, pepper
Preparation
1. Remove the chicken breast from the refrigerator about 30 minutes before you intend to prepare it.
2. Cut the chicken breast into cubes. Peel the potatoes and kohlrabi; mince the potatoes and julienne the kohlrabi. Clean the chili peppers and slice them into rings.
3. Place the EasyQuick with the 20 cm sealing ring on the pot. Heat the pot on highest level up to the roasting window, switch to a low level and roast the chicken breast.
4. Add the potatoes, kohlrabi and chili, then deglaze with broth. Cover again with the EasyQuick, heat the pot on highest level up to the steam window, switch to a low level and cook for approx. 10 minutes in the steam area.
5. Meanwhile, clean the leek and slice it into rings. Remove the EasyQuick once the cooking time is over, add the leek, stir and simmer for approx. 3 minutes. Add the crème fraîche, stir and season to taste with salt and pepper.
Tip
- You can substitute any vegetable you prefer (such as carrots, cauliflower, etc.) for the kohlrabi. Use peanut butter in place of crème fraîche to add a special touch.
