Ingredients
- 800 g white cabbage
- 2 onions
- 500 g red bell peppers
- 125 ml vegetable broth
- 125 ml white wine vinegar
- 5 tbs sunflower oil
- 100 g sugar
- 1 ts salt
- pepper
- 50 g pumpkin seeds
Preparation
1. Clean the white cabbage, remove the stem and cut into fine strips. Peel and halve the onions and cut into thin slices.
2. Clean the bell peppers and cut into short strips.
3. Add the broth and vinegar to the pot, bring to a boil on highest level, remove from the hob, add oil, dissolve sugar and salt in it. Season well with pepper.
4. Mix the marinade with the salad ingredients and marinate well, preferably overnight.
5. Season to taste again before serving. Coarsely chop the pumpkin seeds and sprinkle over the salad.
