Ingredients
- 2 glasses long grain rice
- 1/2 glass Turkish or Greek orzo pasta (Arpa Sehriye or Kritharaki)
- 3 tbs olive oil
- 3 glasses cold water
- 25 g butter
- 1 ts salt
Preparation
1. Put long grain rice in a sieve and wash under running water.
2. Mix the orzo with the oil in the pot. Heat pot on highest level up to the roasting window.
3. Remove the pot from the hob briefly and carefully add rice, water, butter, and salt. Then stir well.
4. Heat the pot on highest level up to the vegetable window, switch to a low level, and cook for approx. 20 minutes (observe package instructions) in the vegetable area.
Tip
- Use a 200 ml glass for measuring.
