Ingredients
- 1 clove of garlic
- 50 g basil leaves
- 50 g arugula
- 2 tbs pine nuts, toasted
- 100 ml olive oil
- 50 g chopped parmesan cheese
- salt, pepper
- 300 g smoked tofu
- 4 hamburger rolls
- 2 tomatoes
Preparation
1. Peel the garlic and mash it with basil leaves, arugula, pine nuts, olive oil and Parmesan. Season with salt and pepper.
2. Cut the tofu into slices and brush with a little oil.
3. Heat the pot on highest level up to the roasting window, switch to a low level, and roast the tofu slices for approx. 2 to 3 minutes on all sides.
4. Slice the bread roll open. Clean the tomatoes and slice them thinly.
5. Toast the roll and spread pesto on it. Top with tomatoes and roasted tofu and serve.
