Stuffed trout

  1. 2 trouts (approx. 300 g each)
  2. pepper
  3. 4 slices Serrano ham
  4. flour for handling
  5. 2 cloves of garlic
  6. 100 g bacon cubes

1. Rinse the trout with cold water, thoroughly dab dry the inside and outside and season with pepper.

2. Stuff the trout belly each with two slices of ham. Coat the trout in flour. Peel the garlic and cut into thin slices.

3. Heat the pot on highest level up to the roasting window, switch to a low level and roast the bacon cubes while stirring.

4. Add the garlic and push everything aside slightly. Add the trout and roast until the turning point is reached.

5. Turn over the trout and roast the other side too until the turning point is reached.

6. Switch off the hob and let the trout roast for approx. 5 minutes.

7. Plate the trout with the bacon and garlic mixture and serve.
