Ingredients
- 100 g rice
- 2 onions
- 1 clove of garlic
- 2 carrots
- 600 g minced meat
- 1 egg
- 1 ts fennel seeds
- salt, pepper
- 6 large, blanched cabbage leaves
- 400 g diced tomatoes (canned)
- 200 ml vegetable broth
- 5 stalks dill
- vodka
- 100 g sour cream or greek yogurt
Preparation
1. Cook the rice in the small pot, but only for half the cooking time indicated on the package. Then remove and let cool.
2. Peel onions, garlic and carrots and chop everything very finely in the Quick Cut.
3. Knead rice and chopped vegetables with ground meat, egg and fennel seeds and season well.
4. Place the cabbage leaves on a clean tea towel, cover them with a second towel and roll them over with a rolling pin (this makes the leaves softer and less wet).
5. Spread the filling over the leaves, fold the leaves in at the sides, roll up into roulades and place into the Combi Sieve insert. Mix the chopped tomatoes and stock in the pot, then place the Combi Sieve on top.
6. Close with the EasyQuick with the 24 cm sealing ring. Heat the pot at the highest level up to the steam window, switch to a low level, and cook for approx. 20 minutes in the steam area.
7. Finely chop the dill. Add dill and vodka to the sauce and season to taste. Serve with a dash of sour cream or yogurt.
