Panino/Croque Monsieur

  1. 8 slices white or rye bread
  2. 4 slices gouda or mozzarella
  3. 4 slices ham or salami
  4. 4 tbs red or green pesto

1. Put the desired toppings on half the slices of bread and top with the rest of the bread slices.

2. Heat the pan on highest level up until the perfect temperature for roasting is reached.

3. Switch to a medium level and put the first bread slice in the pan. As soon as they start to lift from the pan, turn and roast on other side.

4. Cook the rest of the bread slices in the same way and serve warm.

Tip

  • Suitable toppings: - green or red pesto - slices of gouda or mozzarella - slices of ham or salami - rocket, strips of pepper, tomato slices, or avocado pieces
  • It is best to use slices of brown bread. It tastes nuttier and is rich in valuable fiber.
