Fish tikka (Indian fish skewers)

  1. 400 g firm white fish fillet (e.g., cod)
  2. 1/2 ts chili powder
  3. 1/4 ts turmeric
  4. 1/2 ts ground black pepper
  5. 1/2 ts ginger and garlic paste
  6. 4 tbs lemon juice
  7. 2 onions

1. Coarsely dice the fish fillet. Mix the chili powder and all ingredients up to and including the lemon juice, mix with the diced fish, and marinate for approx. 30 minutes.

2. Peel and cut the onions into large pieces and alternate spearing onto the four wooden skewers with the diced fish.

3. Place the pot on the Navigenio and heat on level 6 up to the roasting window, put the pot in the inverted lid and place the skewers inside.

4. Place the Navigenio overhead and switch to the high level, bake for approx. 5 minutes until the skewers start to lightly brown.

Tip

  • Serve the skewers with lemon wedges and mint leaves.
