Ingredients
- 3 sour pears
- 3 sour apples
- 3 tbs white wine or apple juice
- 50 g dried apricots
- 50 g walnuts
- 50 g dried cranberries
- sugar to taste
- cinnamon to taste
Preparation
1. Peel the pears and apples, then quarter, core and cut into slices. Add both to the pot with white wine or apple juice.
2. Dice the apricots, coarsely chop the walnuts and add both together with the cranberries. Sprinkle with a little sugar and cinnamon as desired.
3. Heat the pot on highest level up to the vegetable window, switch to a low level and cook for approx. 8 minutes in the vegetable area.
4. At the end of cooking time, let the compote cool and serve with vanilla ice cream or vanilla sauce as desired.
Tip
- The dried fruit can be changed based on your mood.
