Spicy flatbread

  1. 180 g spelt flour
  2. 50 g lentil flour
  3. 1 package dry yeast
  4. 2 tbs black sesame seeds
  5. 1/2 ts turmeric
  6. 1/2 ts coriander powder
  7. 1 ts salt
  8. 2 tbs sesame oil
  9. 150 ml pale ale

1. Mix the spelt flour and lentil flour with the yeast, sesame, spices and salt in a bowl.

2. Pour in the sesame oil and beer and mix everything into a smooth dough. Cover and let the dough rise in a warm location for approx. 30 minutes until the mixture has visibly increased in size.

3. Divide the dough into six portions and roll the dough out into thin round flatbread on a floured countertop.

4. Heat the pan on highest level up until the perfect temperature for roasting is reached.

5. Switch to a medium level and place the flatbread inside. Roast each side for approx. 3 minutes. Roast the rest of the flatbread in the same way.

Tip

  • Serve flatbread as a side to spicy ragouts or savory dips.
