Salad with chicken strips and apples

  1. 500 g chicken breast
  2. 2 sour apples
  3. 50 g rocket
  4. 100 g young spinach
  5. 4 tbs olive oil
  6. 1 tbs mustard
  7. 2 tbs liquid honey
  8. 3 tbs apple cider vinegar
  9. 50 g pomegranate seeds
  10. salt, pepper

1. Remove the chicken breast from the fridge about 30 minutes before you intend to prepare it and dab dry with paper towel.

2. Quarter, core and cut the apples into thin slices. Clean the rocket and spinach.

3. Heat the pot on highest level up to the roasting window, switch to a low level and place the chicken breast inside. Roast until the turning point is reached.

4. Turn the meat and season with salt and pepper, put the lid back on and switch off the hob. Depending on the thickness, allow to rest for approx. 10 minutes, then cut chicken breast into strips.

5. Stir the oil, mustard, honey and apple cider vinegar into a dressing and mix with all salad ingredients, plate with chicken strips on top and serve immediately.
