Ingredients
- 1 clove of garlic
- 1 red onion
- 20 g ginger
- 1 tbs raw cane sugar
- 4 tbs lime juice
- 6 tbs fish sauce
- 3 tbs sesame oil
- 2 kaffir lime leaves
- 1 bunch coriander
- 1 bunch mint
- 1/2 stick lemongrass
- 8 large romaine lettuce leaves
- 500 g minced meat (beef)
- 1 spring onion
Preparation
1. Chop the garlic and all ingredients up to and including the sesame oil in the Quick Cut. Finely chop the kaffir lime leaves, coriander, mint and lemongrass.
2. Heat the pan on highest level up to the roasting window, switch to a low level and roast the minced meat in batches.
3. Return all of the roasted meat to the pan. Add the ingredients from the Quick Cut and also roast. Add the herbs, kaffir lime leaves and lemongrass and stir.
4. Arrange the lukewarm mince meat in the romaine lettuce leaves. Clean the spring onions, cut into fine rings and spread over top.
