Deep-fried wonton

Wonton:
  1. 1 onion
  2. 1 clove of garlic
  3. 100 g mixed, chopped vegetables (e.g. carrot, white cabbage, leek)
  4. 100 g mixed minced meat (beef, pork)
  5. 3 tbs soy sauce
  6. 1 ts AMC Red Delight
  7. 1/2 ts brown sugar
  8. 1 egg
  9. 4 tbs water
  10. 25 fresh wonton sheets
  11. 1 L oil for deep-frying
Sweet and spicy sauce:
  1. 1 shallot
  2. 1 clove garlic
  3. 80 g apricot jam
  4. 1 tbs tomato paste
  5. 1 ts AMC Red Delight
  6. 2 tbs soy sauce

1. Peel and finely cut the onion and garlic for the wontons. Mix with vegetables, minced meat, soy sauce and AMC Red Delight.

2. For the sauce, peel the shallot and garlic and finely chopping in the Quick Cut. Then add all the remaining ingredients and mix everything well.

3. Whisk egg with water. Spread the wonton sheets on your work surface, brush the edges with beaten egg and place a little filling in the center of each. Fold sheets into a triangle; press edges well together.

4. Add oil to the Wok, heat on highest level up to the roasting window, then switch to a low level and add half of the wontons to the hot oil. Deep-fry until the turning point is reached.

5. Turn over the wontons and deep-fry until they are golden brown. Allow to drain on paper towel. Deep-fry the rest of the wontons in the same way. Serve with sauce.
