Bolognese:
  1. 2 onions
  2. 2 cloves of garlic
  3. 2 carrots
  4. 600 g minced beef
  5. 2 tbs tomato paste
  6. 800 g sieved tomatoes (can)
  7. 300 ml vegetable broth
  8. 3 tbs olive oil
  9. salt, pepper
  10. chili flakes
Béchamel sauce:
  1. 50 g butter
  2. 50 g flour
  3. 200 ml white wine
  4. 400 ml vegetable broth
  5. 500 ml milk
  6. salt, pepper
  7. nutmeg
To finish:
  1. butter for greasing
  2. 500 g sheets of lasagna
  3. 300 g grated Parmesan
Bolognese:

1. Peel onions, garlic and carrots, gradually chop everything very finely in the Quick Cut.

2. Heat the large pot on highest level up to the roasting window, switch to a low level and roast the meat until it crumbles. Add the vegetables and briefly roast. Add all other ingredients up to and including the olive oil, season with salt, pepper, and chili pepper, and stir well. Cover with Secuquick softline and close the lid.

3. Heat the pot on highest level up to the turbo window, switch to a low level and cook in the turbo area for approx. 15 minutes. At the end of cooking time, depressurize the pot and remove Secuquick.

Béchamel sauce:

4. Heat butter in the small pot until it begins to become frothy, switch to a low level, add flour, and slightly sauté while constantly stirring. Add the wine, broth, and milk while stirring constantly, bring sauce to a boil, and let simmer for approx. 5 minutes while occasionally stirring. Season to taste with salt, pepper, and nutmeg.

To prepare:

5. Preheat oven to 200 °C (top and bottom heat). Grease the small baking dish with butter and layer the Bolognese sauce, lasagna noodles, béchamel sauce and Parmesan in the dish. Start with the Bolognese sauce and finish with the béchamel sauce and Parmesan.

6. Bake the lasagna in the middle of the oven for approx. 30 minutes. Depending on the level of browning, use the broil function to brown the lasagna a little more.

Tip

  • If you are using fresh pasta dough, buy or prepare enough dough to make around 5 layers. You can leave out the vegetable broth for the Bolognese sauce. The baking time is approximately the same.
  • You can pack a portion of this large family recipe in the AMC Lunchbox and reheat it the next day (without the lid) in the oven.
