Ingredients
- 400 g white cabbage
- 200 g cooked ham
- 1 onion
- 75 g bacon cubes
- 250 g Fleckerl pasta (Austrian pasta)
- 350 ml vegetable broth
- 5 stalks basil
- 150 g crème fraîche
- 2 eggs
- pepper
- nutmeg
- 3 tbs breadcrumbs
- 25 g butter
Preparation
1. Clean the cabbage and cut into small squares. Dice the ham; peel and finely dice the onion.
2. Place the pot on the Navigenio and heat on level 6 up to the roasting window, switch to level 3 and roast the diced bacon. Add the diced onion and roast briefly. Add pasta and broth and stir well.
3. Pour the cabbage over the pasta, cover with the Secuquick softline and close the lid.
4. Heat the pot on highest level up to the soft window, switch to a low level and cook for approx. 3 minutes in the soft area.
5. Finely cut the basil leaves. Whisk the crème fraîche with the eggs and season with the pepper and nutmeg.
6. Depressurize the pot and remove Secuquick. Stir in the crème fraîche mixture, ham and basil. Spread the breadcrumbs and butter in flakes over the pasta.
7. Place the Navigenio overhead, switch to high level, gratinate for approx. 7 minutes.
Tip
- You can also use farfalle pasta if the typical Austrian Fleckerl pasta is not available. The cooking time is approx. 5 minutes.
