Ingredients
- 400 g dried navy beans
- 2 onions
- 1 tbs tomato paste
- 1/2 tbs red pepper paste
- 3 tbs olive oil
- 600 ml water
- 2 ts salt
- chili powder / cayenne pepper powder
Preparation
1. Soak the beans in cold water overnight.
2. Peel and mince the onions the next day.
3. Drain the beans in the sieve and then rinse with cold water. Mix the rest of the ingredients including salt into the pot, place the Secuquick softline on the pot and close the lid.
4. Heat the pot on highest level up to the turbo window, switch to a low level, and cook for about 5 minutes in the turbo area.
5. After cooking is finished, place the pot in an inverted lid and allow it to depressurize by itself.
6. Remove the Secuquick and generously season the beans.
Tip
- If desired, cook with finely diced beef or lamb.
