Ingredients
- 3 slices of toast
- 100 ml cow's milk 3.5 % fat
- 2 onions
- 3 cloves of garlic
- 1 small piece of ginger
- 800 g minced beef
- 2 tbs apricot jam
- AMC Exotica (or curry powder)
- pepper
- worcester sauce
- 2 eggs
- 150 g mascarpone
- 5 bay leaves
Preparation
1. Dice the toast and soak in half the milk. Preheat the oven to 220 °C (top and bottom heat).
2. Peel the onions, garlic and ginger and finely chop everything in the Quick Cut.
3. Place pot on stove and and set it at highest level. Switch on Audiotherm, fit it on Visiotherm and turn it until the roasting symbol appears.
4. As soon as the Audiotherm beeps on reaching the roasting window, set at low level and sauté the mince. Add the onion mixture and sauté briefly.
5. Stir in the apricot jam and the soaked diced toast; season with AMC Exotica, pepper and Worcester sauce.
6. Put everything in the Cook & Serve, place the lid and initially bake in the oven for about 30 minutes.
7. Whisk the eggs together with the remaining milk and mascarpone and season with AMC Exotica and pepper.
8. Remove lid, pour egg mixture over the mince and sprinkle the bay leaves on top. Without the lid, continue baking for about 15 minutes until the surface is golden brown.
Tip
- With the aromatic AMC spices you can achieve plenty of flavour without salt. If you feel that the dish is not adequately spiced, you can simply add a pinch of salt.
