Ingredients
- 250 g grated carrots
- 1/2 ts salt
- 1 garlic
- 1 red onion
- 120 g drained canned soybeans, rinsed
- 1 egg
- 2 tbs hulled hemp seeds
- 1 tbs olive oil
- pepper
Preparation
1. Mix the grated carrots with salt and knead vigorously by hand.
2. Peel the garlic and onion. Chop them together with the soybeans in a food processor and add to the carrots.
3. Add the egg, hemp seeds, and olive oil. Mix well and season generously with pepper.
4. Divide the carrot mixture into four portions and shape them into burger patties.
5. Heat the pan on highest level up to the roasting window, switch to a low level, place the burger in the pan and roast until the turning point is reached. Turn the burger, cover with lid and roast until done for approx. 5 minutes.
Tip
- You can refine the carrot burger to your taste with fresh salad, tomatoes, cucumbers, avocado, or caramelized onions. A flavorful cheese like feta or cheddar, as well as a delicious sauce, will make it even more aromatic.
